This page covers the Recepti.mk: Macedonian recipes app and the recepti.mk website (published by IDEOLOGIKS MEDIA D.O.O.E.L.). It explains how to delete some of your data while keeping your account.

What you can delete yourself

Sign in to the app or the website. Each of these takes effect immediately:

• Drafts and unpublished recipes: open “My Recipes” and tap “Delete” next to the recipe. Published recipes are removed on request by email (see below).
• Likes: on the recipe page, tap the heart again.
• “Made it” marks: on the recipe page, tap it again.
• Bookmarks: tap the bookmark button on the recipe again, or delete a whole list in “Bookmarks” with “Delete list”.
• Shopping list: in “Shopping list”, delete an item or tap “Empty list”.
• Profile details: in “Profile” you can change your name, email address and profile photo, and remove your biography and location.
• Social network links: in “Profile”, under “Social Networks”, tap “Delete”.
• Notifications and newsletter: in “Profile”, under “Notifications”, turn off email and push notifications and the “Recipe newsletter”. You can also leave the newsletter with the unsubscribe link in every email.
• Blocked users: in “Profile”, under “Blocked Users”, tap “Unblock”.

Anything else: ask us by email

Some data you cannot delete yourself, for example published recipes, comments, ratings, private messages or your profile photo. For those, write to us at info@recepti.mk:

1. Send it from the address your account is registered with.
2. Use the subject line “Data deletion request”.
3. Include your username and which data you want deleted, for example all your comments or ratings.

Before deleting anything we reply to the registered address to confirm the request. We action it within 30 days of confirmation and write to you once it is done.

What is kept, and for how long

Your account and any data you have not deleted stay until you delete them or delete the account. Beyond that:

• Aggregated, anonymised statistics (for example the total number of views of a recipe), which cannot be used to identify you.
• Records we are required to keep by law, such as abuse or safety reports, kept only for as long as the applicable law requires.
• Residual copies in encrypted backups, which are removed within 30 days as those backups are rotated.
